CAIRN
TERRIER
2. Day's Tribannon Chocolate Chip at Trekhilli, a shade taller
than 1 but very good in neck and topline, not quite as good as 1 in front but
he too moved well behind. Good coat and pleasing in head and expression
Correct tail and tail carriage. 3. Parker-Tucker's Tom Trick's Incredibly Ilay of Uniquecottage
TAF PD (1) 1. Shannon & Storr's Cale Hill's Go Above and Beyond for Brenndarcy, Good in head and expression with a good eye OK in ears and correct stop and skull. Good neck. Coat could be better. Correct tail and tail carriage. Could move a bit more tidily in front and, having a good deal of bend of stifle, he was slightly close behind. Enough bone. JD (2,1) 1. Keeves' Seveek Treasure the Dream, another with good head and eye with the right size of ears well carried. Looks good and showed OK standing but needs a bit more ring discipline going around the ring. This would make his outline look better. Enough coat of good texture. Moved well in front and was sufficiently angulated behind. PGD (1) 1. Parker-Tucker's Uniquecottage Silver Askin, a dog with very pleasing dark points, ears and muzzle. Good in eye shape and size, Good strength of jaw. Good topline but didn't behave all that well moving up and down but seemed sound in front and hind movement. Good tail sometimes carried a bit high. Excellent rugged appearance. LD (4) 1. Keeves' Seveek I Spied That Dream, very pleasing in
head and expression and scored there over 2. Excellent neck and good topline,
coat not too bad and though he moved well in front he could drive slightly
better behind at times. Good general outline and proportions. Went on to win
RDCC 2. Carter & Clarke's Lentrica Rocket Man at Carernwil, also
very good in outline but he didn't have quite the head and expression of the winner.
Good ears and eye. Pleasing in coat and moved OK. Didn't yet have the head or
mature development of the winner. 3. Owens' Caldwall Call to Order. OD (5,2) 1. Waugh's Ch Tribuns Licorice Coin at Tribannon, not a
small dog but very well proportioned with good length to height ratio. Very
good in head and expression with good stop. Excellent neck, topline and
tailset. Good coat of the right texture and enough bone. Has ring presence.
Moved rather better in front than behind. A quality and typey exhibit that
went on to take the DCC 2. Ball's Lentrica Let's Dance at Calamondin, another dog that
was good in head and eye and was better for size than 1 but movement was not
so positive as 1 and he could do with just a shade more neck. 3. Shopland's Trekhilli Mister Bean at Cherrycrack VB (1) 1. Smith's Glenmear Sproxton Lass of Gethlee, seemed a
bit stuffy in outline and didn't hold her outline well going around the ring
but very good in head and eye with enough stop and correct in muzzle. Enough
bone. Excellent coat quantity and texture and moved out well behind. MPB (5, 2) 1. Waugh's Tribannon Bourbon, not a small bitch but
OK behind and scored for head and outline and showed better than 2. Excellent
coat. Good neck. Correct tail and tail set and had the right amount of bend
of stifle. Well balanced and good enough for age in front and behind. 2. Bateman's Carradine Mon Mon Sherry, good size but not quite
the head of the winner, could do with just a shade more strength of foreface
Good topline and scored over 3 behind. Coat good for age and correct length
and shape of tail. 3. Bateman & Ravenhill's Carradine Fizz Bomb PB (4,2) 1. Carter's Lentrica Dolly Mixture at Carernwil, needs
a bit more development in head to complete the picture, good neck and OK in topline.
Excellent size. Moved out reasonably well and scored there over 2. Correct
weight and enough bone for age. Needs to settle in the ring 2. Peers' Tweedisle Remember Dee, good in coat and not bad in head but not moving well in front and is carrying too much weight today. Does not stride out properly behind. JB (5,1) 1. Thomas Tycadno Dancing Star, scored very much for
maturity over 2. Good in head and typical outline. A quality bitch with a
good coat of correct texture. Good front. Enough bone and good feet. 2. Lund's Cairngold Brandy Snap, scored over 3 for front
movement and slightly over her, for hind movement. Needs a bit more time to
mature and finish in head. Correct neck. Enough coat for her age and OK in
stifle. Stood well in front. 3. Thompson's Glenrood Love in a Mist PGB (3) Parker-Tucker's Uniquecottage Fennel, very pleasing in
head, good for type and good for length and body proportions. OK in coat.
Correct for size and had much breed type and quality. Moved well in front and
behind. 2. Shopland's Cherrycrack Fair Rosamund, not quite the head of 3
but scored over her in hindquarters. Needs a bit more coat to complete the
picture. Good neck, topline and tailset. Could benefit from a bit more bone. 3. Soper's Elitecharm Five of Diamonds LB (4,1) I found this a difficult class to judge. 1. Petts'
Brenndarcy Hunky Dory among Doonrae, I thought she was, correctly, not as big
in head as 2 and was better in eye. She could however do with a shade
stronger muzzle. She moved OK in front but not so well behind. Good body
proportions and in good coat and had correct tailset. 2. Osborn's Tweslam Born to Bewitch, a bit shorter in back than
1 and did not seem so typey in head and eye. Good coat and moved better
behind than 1 but not quite so positive in front. 3. Smith's Cannwood Misty Dawn at Gethlee OB (5) 1. Dolan's Glenrood Spell Dance JW, two very similar
bitches here. The first stood up well and was somewhat more showy than 2. She
had a very good head with really typical expression, good skull, good eye and
ears. She had the correct amount of strength of jaw. Stood well in front.
Good feet. Moved soundly in front and behind. Shown in excellent coat. Went
on to win BCC and BOB. 2. Parker-Tucker's Uniquecottage Florey, another - similar in
many ways - and has benefitted from maturity. Good in head and skull, well
proportioned in body and correct rib. Moved out well in front and behind. Has
good breed type and not over exaggerated in any way. Went on to win Res BCC 3. Shannon Storr's Ch Brenndarcy Cloudbusting
